Sally Noble
Guild Of Drama Adjudicators
Sally Noble has been a Speech and Drama Adjudicator at Festivals all over the UK since 1973. She began her career in the theatre as a child in the North of England, later training in Bristol and in London. In addition to acting, she has directed plays, musicals and oprea, and worked in television, radio and films. She now spends much of her time as a Drama Tutor, teaching at Creative Drama workshops and the NFWI, and lectures to industrial management.
Sally is especially interested in Youth Drama and formed the Bristol Youth Theatre which attracts young people from all over the West of England and presents a very high standard of work. Many of their productions tour the area and theCompany also visits senior schools, involving students in workshops.
Sally has written poetry, some of which has been published, and has just completed her first novel. She also writes articles on the need for Creative Drama and Speach Ability in kindergarten and junior schools.
She lives in Bristol, does the summer season in Falmouth and occasionally has time for a holiday!
